The Supercharger Air Hybrid Vehicle

A new idea for fuel efficient, affordable, green vehicles

A separate supercharger regenerative braking system can be installed in all turbocharged downsized engine cars, vans and buses, giving 15% fuel saving (CO2 reduction) on top of the already fuel efficient turbocharged downsized engine vehicle.

The Supercharger Air Hybrid Vehicle (SAHV) retains the same performance with increased mileage as the original turbocharged engine vehicle. It uses a simple air tank for energy storage in contrast to the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) which requires heavy expensive chemical batteries for energy storage, hence low lifecycle CO2 and more affordable, engine-only, low cost alternative to the HEV.

The downsized engine includes all turbocharged diesel engines which are already downsized in the standard engine vans and buses, and future turbocharged petrol engines which will be downsized in cars.
